81 Year Old Takes Up Martial Arts Instead Of A Gym Membership

April 23, 2012 By Brett Kraiger

81 Year Old Arthur Bondy had tried the gym, but instead his wife bought him some Karate lessons at Quest Martial Arts and he has never looked back.

In this video you can see him and his wife laying into the heavy bags with some really powerful punches. I had to remind myself that he’s 81 years old!

It truly does show that martial arts can be for all ages.. even if you don’t start until you are in your 80s.

This video does not show him doing any “traditional” karate, but that does not take away at all from the fact that he’s on the mat and getting stuck in!
