Your Home Gym Checklist

Your Home Gym Checklist

November 30, 2019 By MAO40 Staff

What’s the best way to set up a home gym? First, decide what kind of exercises you want to do. How much space do you have for your gym? How much money do you have to invest in your gym? You can then decide how to stock your gym. You don’t need fancy and expensive equipment. You can use equipment like resistance bands, kettlebells, slam balls, foam roller, slide boards and protective flooring. Add a radio or a television to keep you entertained while you are exercising.

Key Takeaways:

  • Always start by figuring out what your goals are for your home gym, since this will shape what kinds of equipment you need.
  • Another crucial early step is figuring out in advance how much space and how much money you can devote to your home gym.
  • Resistance cords, kettle bells, slide boards and slam balls are all useful but compact and affordable.

“These help activate and engage your core-stabilizing muscles, while also helping to strengthen your feet and ankles to help build a strong safe foundation to workout.”
