A Healthier 53 Year Old Brian Through Martial Arts

March 11, 2013 By Brett Kraiger

There are lots of benefits in training for martial arts. It can range from physical, psychological and even emotional. This is the reason why more and more people are now trying their hands at martial arts. Moreover, people older than 40, whom other might think are too old, are also developing an interest in training.

53 year old Brain is one of these people. Ever since he started training under Tom Callos, Brian has lost a total of 50 pounds off his weight and has greatly increased his mobility and stamina. With the training he has been taking, Brian is now feeling a lot healthier and better about himself.

This only goes to show that martial arts training will help individuals develop a love towards an active lifestyle which greatly contributes to a positive outlook in life. This is especially significant to older people who feel that they need something to look forward to doing every single day just like Brian.

Training Brian is a video series to promote martial arts training for people over the age of 40. Brian’s 53 and has, so far, lost 50 pounds –and greatly increased his stamina and mobility. This is part of a national movement, thru www.martialarts40plus.ning.com to encourage martial arts teachers to develop programs for people 40 plus. This is a project of http Thank you to BJ Penn, Jay Penn, and the Penn Academy for use of their facilities.
